2021 CEA Convention

Learn about the five core competencies of CASEL’s Social Emotional Learning framework: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Building, and Responsible Decision-Making. Social Emotional Learning is process of developing these skills, both in our students and in ourselves, how they impact learning, and how they impact school functioning. This workshop will provide an overview of each construct and how to provide instruction through general teaching practices, classroom interventions, and whole school approaches.
