Come gain some extra tricks, resources, and tools to help make your Social Studies classes more engaging for students and more fun for you to teach. We will discuss the use of primary sources, living history and reenactments, artifact and image analysis, and other strategies that we have used successfully in our classrooms.
Ken has been teaching Social Studies and Science in the 4th and 5th grades at Timothy Christian for 11 years, holding a B.A. in Elementary Education as well as a B.A. in Youth Ministry and Theology.
Ross has been teaching 7th grade Social Studies for 11 years at Timothy Christian, holding a B.A. in US History and Secondary Education as well as a M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership.
