Dr. Beth Vander Kolk is a former first-grade teacher with a passion for Christian education. Beth currently teachers reading instruction to preservice teachers at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Beth's current research interests include applying neuroscience and cognitive science findings to reading instruction, culturally responsive teaching, and multicultural education.
