Grady Zuiderveen

USDA Forest Service
Grady Zuiderveen is a Botanist with the USDA Forest Service where he works on rare plant conservation, native plant community ecology, and landscape restoration and reforestation. He received his PhD in Forest Resources in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management from Penn State, where his research focused on native medicinal herb conservation and forest-based cultivation. He also holds a MS in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Michigan State, and a BS in Plant Biology and Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University. Grady lives with his wife and his two children in Grand Rapids, MI, and in his free time enjoys hiking, gardening, foraging, and all things related to Creation Care.
